40 years - a visual history of Macquarie University 1964-2004
From the beginning Macquarie’s lecturers lived up to the University’s motto ‘And gladly teche’. Always flexible, Macquarie refused to set up barriers between the scholarly disciplines. A sense of excitement pervaded the new University as innovative, interdisciplinary educational pathways were set; opening a world of learning to many previously denied the opportunity.
